  13. i'm currently trying to decide whether to get it or the cardinal mvp28.8 v34 
  14. voice/fax modem, which is slightly cheaper.

  16. has anyone used the zoom comstar 28.2 v.34 speakerphone/voice/fax modem?  do 
  17. you find you really use the speakerphone and voicemail?  i know that 
  18. everyone's needs will differ -- i was wondering if they're just gimicky 
  19. features that no one really uses much after they buy the modem (whether 
  20. because of needs or because of poor quality of the features).

  22. also, the cardinal has flash rom and it doesn't look like the zoom does.  has 
  23. that been a big deal to anyone?  or does it look like it might be in the 
  24. future?

  26. it appears that zoom and cardinal modems connect reliably at 28.8 (or close), 
  27. depending on the line quality, so i'm not too worried about that.
